Creative Youth Drop-In - Come in. Try it. Enjoy it.
Creative Youth Drop-In takes place every Friday night in Studio 2 and is open to young people aged 11-17. It is a relaxed, welcoming space where young people can come together to spend time with friends, meet new people, and get involved in a wide range of creative activities, with a strong focus on the arts.
Each week, the space is set up with different options to explore. Young people might take part in singing, arts and crafts, gaming, music, film, or group activities that encourage teamwork and connection. There is always something to try, and sessions are shaped by the interests and ideas of those who attend, giving young people a real sense of ownership in the space.
Our arts-focused approach gives young people the chance to express themselves in a supportive and encouraging environment. It is a place to share ideas, develop skills, and discover new interests and talents. By combining creativity with a safe and social setting, the drop-in helps build confidence, support personal growth, and create a strong sense of community among the young people who come along.
Throughout the year, we also host special events during drop-in sessions. These have included seasonal celebrations like a Halloween youth disco, as well as opportunities to attend live performances in the venue, where young people can support their peers, enjoy live music, and celebrate each other’s talents together.
