PART-TIME YOUTH SUPPORT WORKER
Youth Start Galliagh — EA Youth Services Local Area Provision (Galliagh)
with Greater Shantallow Community Arts. Location: Galliagh
In partnership with Education Authority Youth Service
Role Purpose
The Part-Time Youth Support Worker will support the oversight, coordination, and direct delivery of GSCA’s Youth Start Galliagh open access youth provision. The postholder will help ensure
high-quality, safe, inclusive, and engaging youth work aligned with EA Youth Services Local
Area Provision requirements and the Model for Effective Practice, prioritising young people
aged 9–18 years.
Hours: 20 hours per week (Part Time)
Pay Scale: NJC Scale 2-SCP4 (Pro Rata)
Contract: Fixed Term (2026–2029, subject to annual funding review)
